Hi, I’m Anastasia Bennett — coach, truth-teller, and the woman you want in your corner when you’re tired of the BS and ready to feel like yourself again.
I’m the owner and head coach at Perimenopause Weight Loss and Wellness, based in Wellington, New Zealand but I coach incredible women all over the world who are done with restrictive diets and ready for real, sustainable change.
Driven, honest, and a little awkward, I don’t sugar-coat things. I care deeply about my clients, but I’ll always tell you the truth, especially when it’s hard. Because I’ve been where you are: stuck, exhausted, gaining weight without changing a thing, and wondering what the hell is going on.
My journey into fitness started over 20 years ago, and I’ve spent the last 14+ years coaching women through nutrition, fitness, mindset, and hormone health. I’ve owned CrossFit gyms, fought in MMA, raised babies, baked a LOT of sourdough, and been through early perimenopause myself.
When I hit perimenopause at 37, I was dismissed by doctors, told I was too young. But I knew something was wrong. Anxiety, brain fog, weight gain that felt like 4kg appeared overnight, exhaustion, and pain that made no sense. It wasn’t “just stress.” It was hormones and it completely changed my life and how I coach.
And let’s talk real life: I’ve been misdiagnosed with everything under the sun until finally, at 38, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Surprise surprise, right as I went into perimenopause and my hormones went wild. It all made sense. I wasn’t broken. I just needed answers.
Then at 41, I had a hysterectomy. Another chapter, another challenge. And again, I got through it by doing the work with honesty, education, and a whole lot of grace.
After my kids, I gained 30kg. I tried every coach, every program, and nothing worked because no one looked at me, my history, my hormones, my habits. So I became the coach I needed: someone who gives you a tailored plan, digs into mindset, gives daily accountability, and genuinely cares.
I don’t just help women lose weight, I help them take ownership of their health, get strong, build confidence, and feel GOOD in their skin again.
Because here’s what I know: weight loss isn’t just about food and workouts. It’s about stress, sleep, hormones, and how you talk to yourself. It’s about systems and support.
That’s what I offer. Real strategy, honest coaching, and a community of women who get it.
I hold diplomas in health science and life coaching, am certified in nutrition, personal training, pre/postnatal fitness, and advanced menopause coaching. But more importantly — I’ve lived this.
